AGENT PROVOCATEUR (television pilot)

In the turbulent political aftermath of the shooting death of Michael Brown Jr, EFFE (21) a Black student nurse with dreams of leaving her hometown of Ferguson, Missouri, becomes involved -- romantically and politically -- with CAM (28), an undercover FBI agent posing as an activist. (Romance; Political Conspiracy Thriller). Antecedents: The Wire, Dirty John. Inspired by the real story of Lisa Jones, the environmental activist whose 6 year relationship with Mark Kennedy was part of a state-sanctioned undercover operation in the UK, AGENT PROVOCATEUR entwines a fictional story of romance, trust and betrayal with raw political history of the Ferguson unrest to expose patterns of abuse by men and the state. AGENT PROVOCATEUR ranked 9th in the Missouri Stories Screenwriting Fellowship and has been encouraged by the Missouri Film Office to develop and reapply in the coming fall.

RENDER (feature)

A techno conspiracy thriller about Alejandra Parker, a burnt out, switched off, internet troll who will do anything to make ends meet… including writing fake news for money. When she’s framed for the murder of her housemate (the ex-boyfriend she still lives with to save on rent) Alejandra realises a conspiracy she peddled might actually be true and the only way to save herself is to expose a Bezos/Zuckerberg-esque tech mogul’s plot to eliminate free will. RENDER ranked among the top 15% of scripts in the 2021 Academy Nicholl Fellowship competition, was a finalist at Austin Film Festival’s Virtual Pitch Competition, quarterfinalist in the CineStory Feature Retreat & Fellowship Competition and a semifinalist with the London International Screenwriting Competition.

SOLEDAD (short)

A Mexican-American Tomboy, her strict immigrant parents, and a motorcycle. Chloe Ramirez isn’t cut out for high school so she sets out to fix her mom’s old Yamaha in the hopes of connecting with her, but what should bring them closer only pushes them further apart. (family drama; coming of age, identity)

DAISY (feature)

31 year-old relationship counsellor Daisy could handle losing her mortgage in the breakup. She could handle her fiancé breaking up with her… but what she can’t handle is showing up empty-handed as a bridesmaid with no plus-one to her best friend/ Bridezilla’s Orange County wedding in two week’s time. But she has options: win her fiancé back, or… try Tinder. An anti-rom-com about falling in love with yourself first.

FISSURE (short)

Oil and gas engineer Glenn Lockwood is days away from being granted permanent residence in the UK, but when a secret she's been keeping for her company costs her colleague his life, she has to decide whether to keep quiet to stay in the country, or speak up and lose everything (thriller). FISSURE was a Finalist with the Southern California Screenplay Competition and a Quarterfinalist for the Fall 2018 Screencraft Film Fund Competition.
